No.1 thing you would like to see in the gaming market.

I'd like to see sega make a new console that destroys playstation.No.1 thing you would like to see in the gaming market.
I would actually like to see Apple try and make a game console and compete with microsoft. That would be really intresting.No.1 thing you would like to see in the gaming market.
i'd like to see a game that incorperates every good gamn ever made into one. it would be a grand-theft auto style sandbox type thing with gran turismo car specs and u can go into buildings and play guitar hero and u can join the army and it would have COD type controls. And some time u can go into the future and play in the future army halo type thing. it would be sweet
- More Small and Medium Developers taking on more epic project (Bit-Blot and Seeds for example)- Japanese Hardcore Gaming to make a comeback- See more high production value 2D Games on Consoles- More ways and stylles of gaming established from other countires (Korea, Europe, etc.)- LAN being much more common and as popular or at least as close to as online gaming- Fighting Games to step out of the niche market and at least be a reconized supported genre- Arcades to comeback- If anyone was going to make a console I would say Capcom
More Street Fighter from 3rd Strike's system....and a sequel to Capcom vs SNK 2 or....even Marvel vs Capcom 2 (yeah, I know).More pressure from companies to stop M$ from charging their way to the internet gaming arena.
Cheaper prices
A cross between street racing and hardcore mathematical driving simulation.
Virtual gaming. I really want to try Oblivion with a body suit instead of a stupid mouse and keyboard! I want to be able to fight myself!
Demos of each and every game in advance of the ship date of the game (or alongside the game if it is downloadable) would be ideal. Reviews are less and less useful to me (I pay attention to them if no demo is available, but nothing beats hands-on experience) and what with multiple developers working on the same series, even franchise isn't as reliable as it used to be.
I'd like to see more downloadable ''renovated'' classic titles. I'd also like to see a MMORPG that focuses on character and not equipment development. A Capcom/Namco/EA console would be interesting as well.
two simple things.development costs need to get under control. they are hurting our hobby as developers are sometimes afraid to take the financial risks some of their ideas would carryall old games downloadable somehow, legally, and cheap. nintendo's VC kills me with the lack of a lot of games we should be able to play. this should be a high priority thing. they are trying to string people along with weekly buys, hiding a gem in between here or there. this may work to an extent, but it drives people like me away who just want to be able to play. these things take time? nintendo is selling more consoles than oprah has in her evil army (shes brewing a cult to take over the world, but i digress). they have the money, put more people behind it. say hey, you want to play this old school game? its available.
less abundance of them FPS games
the Japanesse devs havent ''wowed'' me in the past few years so idd love to see an HQ Jgame
I am happy with the volume and quality of games right now, so I would not change much other than the $60 price point for the great majority of PS3 and 360 games that come out. There are games I am happy to lay down $68.00 for (after tax) but every game that comes to the console should not carry that price. COD4 and Heavenly Sword have short campaign modes, 6 hours by most accounts. that cost less to develop, they'll make oodles on follow up games, so come on let's see it enter the market at $50.I like short games, I really do, but not for $60. You want to charge $80-$100 for an old-fashioned RPGthat will take 40-80 hours to beat (or Burnout, of GHits that I'll play 40+hours of), please go right ahead, I'll happily pay it.
Birthright, the game...redevelopped properly.Add varying levels of complexity so you can reach almost everyone. Some peoples think RISK is complex; you have to be able to manage a system so these peoples can enjoy the game...and it can developp nicely so players like me can enjoy it to. Birthright has the seed for that, just not the willpower. The scaling was too limited, not different enough...talking about REAL differences here, not just roads or a few details.
