Best and Most Memorable Game Endings Ever.

In here it doesn't have to be the best game EVER or the best story, should have an awsome ending and have you remember it for years to come.BEST ENDINGS: PORTAL (''I'm Still Alive'' Credits) METAL GEAR 3 (Everything at the end of the game was awsome, from the last few boss fights to ending scenes) HALF LIFE 2NEED FOR SPEED CARBON (Last Chase was cool)Best and Most Memorable Game Endings Ever.
Well the best game and best ending is Superman 64......lol just joking that game sucked. Really i liked the end of Halo 2. And the last level of halo 1.Best and Most Memorable Game Endings Ever.
I found the ending to Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones very memorable...
Kingdom HeartsKnights of the Old Republic - Good EndingBaldurs Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
Conker's Bad Fur DayThe game starts with an movie that takes place after the events in the last level. They make conker all grumpy and jaded. Its seems funny because he's a cute squirrel and its an homage to a movie. The whole game is light-hearted and a joke. Even the last boss fight is comedic. But then after you beat it, events happen that make the story very depressing. Its like the song, ''Mad World'' should be playing at the end. Its really weird because the shift in tone is so drastic.Thats the only ending I can think of that was notable to me. Most other endings are happy or the goal of you playing the game is completed so its basically what you expected
 • Shadow of the Colossus ~ An epic ending to an epic game. ''The Sunlit Earth'' track combined with the imagery is a sight to behold.
 • ICO ~ Very image heavy, not as moving as Shadow but amazing.
 • Doom ~ After going through hell you are treated to the vision of a cute little bunny rabbit. How sweet...
 • StarCraft ~ One of the best game endings ever. Contains massive spoilers
 • Super Metroid ~ ''Mission Complete'' After going through what you do in that game, you get to see a large explosion and are given a sweet reward for playing the game quickly.

HL2, MGS3

The Darkness. - LOL. Everyone hated that for some reason..I thought it ended well. Really encaptured the emotion.
City of Villains; it never ends. :)If it ends, then BG2: Throne of Bhaal and other games such as this one are usually neat. You have a global ending, an explanation of many plots/situations and how your party's member end their career after you are gone. ToEE was great for that as well.See, you become a God, everything is good everywhere...But then you read Something likes: Aerie will never truly recover your disparition, she understand it was for the greater good, but she will never be the same again. Gah! This is not overly negative compare to the series of good ending (other good characters as well), but at the same time...you go...doh! :P It is a trade-off.
I really liked the ending of the halo series. Final fantasy 10 also had one of the most memorable endings ive ever seen.
Final Fantasy III for SNES. It wrapped up the story, had epic beautiful music, and was almost 20 minutes long.
Devil may cry 3 also had a preety sick ending.
My personal top 5 game endings:1. Killer 72. MGS33. Ico4. Final Fantasy 85. Shadow of The Colossus
Im sticking with PORTAL as a game that has one of the best credits songs EVERI also Liked Devil May Cry 3, Half Life 2, Kingdom Hearts 2, and last but not least, Jak 3I remembered Jak 3 and it was one of the few games that had you satisfied in the end. You all should've tried it.
I'll always treasure striking the final blow against Ganon in Ocarina. I loved the Portal song too.
Fallout
Mafia
Planescape Torment

the ending to Tales of Symphonia, including the final battlei was sad not only because of the sad (and at the same time happy) ending but because my 45 hour playtrough was over...
I loved the Portal song too.
Ah yes, Portal..... Epic ending
The first game to come to mind is the original Metal Gear Solid. I don't really remember the final scene, but the spoken dialogue after the credits really caught me by surprise. That may not be the best ending, but it's definitely the most memorable for me.
